How to Send USDT from Binance to a Bali Exchange (Step-by-Step)

Pick the right network first

This is the one decision that costs real money. Binance lets you withdraw USDT on several networks, and the fee difference is enormous:

• TRC20 (Tron) — 1 USDT flat fee, 60-90 second confirmation. Universally supported by Bali exchangers. This is the default choice.
• BEP20 (BSC) — around 0.29 USDT, fast, but fewer exchangers accept it. Confirm before sending.
• ERC20 (Ethereum) — $15-40 depending on gas, 5-15 minutes. Only use if you have no other option.

Always ask the exchanger which network they want before you withdraw. TRC20 is almost always the answer, but confirming takes ten seconds and saves you from sending to an incompatible address.

Withdraw from Binance

1. In the Binance app, go to Wallet → Withdraw → USDT.
2. Paste the exchanger's wallet address. Never type it by hand — one wrong character and the funds are gone with no way to recover them.
3. Select TRC20 as the network. Binance shows the fee (1 USDT) and the minimum withdrawal right on this screen.
4. Enter the amount, then confirm with your 2FA code and email verification. Binance usually processes the withdrawal in 2-5 minutes.

A useful habit for larger amounts: send a small test first (say 10 USDT), confirm the exchanger received it, then send the rest. The extra 1 USDT fee is cheap insurance on a big transfer.

Confirm the transfer landed

For an in-person cash exchange, the order matters: the agent brings the IDR cash, you count it, and only then do you release the crypto. A trustworthy exchanger never asks you to send first.

Common mistakes that cost money

• Wrong network. Sending TRC20 funds to a BEP20 address (or vice versa) can make them unrecoverable. Match the network on both ends.
• Typing the address. Always copy-paste, then check the first and last four characters against the exchanger's message.
